Novocaine: The All-Dentist Rock Band
If you can feel it… you need more Novocaine.
Four Out Of Five Dentists
A band that met in dental school
Novocaine is a San Diego rock band made up entirely of dentists — friends who met in dental school and never quite got around to stopping. Dr. Russell McCalley of Precision Dental Arts plays alongside them.
Their own pitch, and we cannot improve on it: four out of five dentists recommend listening to this band.
They play bars, parties and fundraisers up and down the San Diego coast. If you have caught a summer set somewhere along the 101, there is a fair chance you have already met your dentist.
Where you will find them
Novocaine turns up at beach bars, plazas and community fundraisers across the county — Tower 13 in Cardiff by the Sea (their home bar), the Camp Store at South Carlsbad State Beach, Coronado Ferry Landing, Del Mar Plaza and the Belly Up Tavern among them.
The schedule changes constantly, so the band keeps it on their own site rather than here.
